Beginning Monday and the three Mondays to follow, Sveriges Radio Kristianstad (P4 Kristianstad) will broadcast its afternoon program from Gamlegårdens library. Sveriges Radio aims to increase diversity and allow more voices to be heard.
– We need to work actively to create better diversity. Our whole democracy is built on the idea that everyone has access to information and can make their voice heard. This project is an outreach activity. That’s the way we have to work if we want to be reflective of our society and let everyone speak, says Anna Stenberg, Channel Manager of P4 Kristianstad in an article on Kristianstads communes website.
Presenters Karin Bengtsson and Gustav Persson will be broadcasting the afternoon program between 3pm and 5.35pm. The program will be broadcast from Gamlegårdens library on January 15, January 22 and January 29.
