Beata Svensson: ”The world is full of good solutions”

Framtidsveckan (Week for the Future), 11th – 17th September, with its focus on the whole commune as a sustainable commune economically, environmentally, socially and democratically. Beata Svensson, responsible for Agenda 2030, is at the center of things.
1 Do you have any tips about Week for the Future?
– We address ourselves to everyone who lives in Kristianstad commune, especially young people. The world is full of good solutions, as is shown in the film ”Tomorrow.” The film is about our climate, with a town planner in Copenhagen and a recycling expert in San Francisco. It will be shown on Wednesday 13th at 3.30 pm at the Regionmuseum.
2 What else?
– On Thursday at 6.30 pm Shora Esmailian is coming. She has written a book called ”Ur Askan” (Out of the Ashes) about people in flight in a warmer world. This will also be at the Regionmuseum. She will show photographs from her travels and there will be time for questions afterwards.
3 Anything for families with children?
– Yes, a sustainability festival in and outside Östermalmskyrkan (Ostermalm church). There will be a walk with quiz questions, dancing, food from different cultures and activities for children. It is on Saturday 16th at 3 pm.
